MONROE-LAND EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MODEL OF THE MONTH TREVOR ADAMS
Justin Monroe recently sat down with super hot Trevor Adams for some tea and princess cakes to discuss what its like in the life of of one of the hottest male models in fitness world and what it is that gets this Texas born country boy off!
JM: Tell us a little bit about your background, where did you grow up and what inspired you to become a model?
TA: I am from Spring (Houston) Texas, born and raised. I had a relatively good childhood until the age of ten. After the age of ten, both of my parents lost their jobs and things went down hill from there. My brother is learning disabled and required lots of my Mom’s attention and my Dad was of little to no help as he was/is an alcoholic. I moved a lot as a teenager and subsequently attended 7 different High Schools. Despite the many challenges I have faced through the years I did manage to go to College for a total of 6 years. I majored in subjects from Business Management, to Health Management, have also attended
tech schools to become a surgical assistant and then some. I guess I can be considered a ‘Jack of all trades’ but truthfully, I get bored really quick. I typically stay with the same job for a couple of years until I decide to move on. I can’t say that modeling happened by accident as its something that I have always wanted to pursue. When I was about 20, I had walked into a modeling agency here in Houston to get an opinion on my ‘look’. The Agent was interested but told me that I would have to lose a few ‘dress sizes’ before he’d consider me, as I was too large. I figured that since I had worked too hard to gain muscle, I wasn’t willing to lose it that easy, and I never did. I always selectively chose my photographers who could submit work to various publications and or get our work noticed the most. That’s been my formula over the years and I have a closet full of magazines, calendars, catalogs, etc that I can reflect on in the future.
JM: Three words to describe you?
TA: Me, myself, and I
JM: Do you have any bad habits or guilty pleasures?
TA: Eating pop tarts.
JM: Boxers Briefs or jock straps or nothing at all?
TA: Boxer briefs
JM: What turns you on the most?
TA: Well you didn’t ask what turned me on the most in a guy, so I’m just going to go with…Beautiful weather turns me on the most.
JM: What Body part I’m especially proud of?
TA: My hands..I wouldn’t be able to do lots of things without them, i.e. – drive, hold hands, lift weights, eat, and of course masterbate, so yeah, the hands. The hands and feet collectively, make up roughly half the bones in the body. How complex is that?
JM: If I had an autobiography, what would it be titled?
TA: “There are no pictures of me in this book, just words…”

JM: Your body is incredible, is there anything about you that we’d be surprised to know?
TA: Yeah, I was suppose to be born a girl. I think their method of ‘checking’ was a bit different 30 yrs ago. I’m happy to be a dude and even happier that I’m not a hermaphrodite.
JM: The majority of your work exposes your naked body. Nudity, even today, is so overly censored, Have you come across any challenges professionally because your images show all of your gorgeous body?
TA: Absolutely not. I don’t work for any modeling agencies or anyone that can dictate to me – who, what, when, where, and how. I am my own boss and modeling is a hobby. I don’t want any regrets when I can’t model anymore and I want to set an example for the few models that decide to pose nude and have no regrets with their decision. I can think of several famous models and actors that have either become famous for nudity or their careers have evolved into the more exxxplicit side of things, because some erotic images of them were found here and there. What’s someone going to say? “I saw some naked pictures of you.” You have to go out of your way to see nude pics of pretty much anyone, they don’t fall from the sky ;-p
JM: Most memorable modeling job?
TA: I have had several ‘memorable’ modeling jobs but I would have to say that the shoot with Justin Monroe would stand out just a tad bit. Not sure if it was the guns I was being posed with, the amount of people in the room, or the very unique looking cat that was watching the shoot, that stoked my attention the most; but it was a shoot I will never forget. Most of the people that view the images say, “I’ve seen some edgy pics of you but these take the cake.”
JM: Have I ever thought about doing porn?
TA: ABSOLUTELY NOT…Actually I have thought about it, but having sex with someone on camera really doesn’t interest me. I get enough flack about shooting nudes. You’d be amazed at what you can Google these days, so I do have to be careful as these things can follow me for life.

JM: Since you’re in a competitive industry, how do you cope with rejection?
TA: Good question, there really is no coping. I could ponder for ever as to the reason(s) I didn’t get chosen for something but I would beat myself up over it. So I just forget about it and move on.
JM: How would you spend your final days if the world were to end tomorrow?
TA: I would go to the beach somewhere, like Hawaii or Miami and get my tipsy on, forget about my cares and enjoy myself. I would have a few hot boys tag along as well ;-p
JM: What is next for Trevor Adams?
TA: Its hard to say, I will do the modeling thing for as long as I can. I have had movie offers in the past and have turned them all down for one reason or another. I have a major project or two that have been brewing for some time now and I can’t wait to see these things materialize in the coming months. I am a business man during the day/week and I do modeling on the side as a hobby when I get some free time and when I feel like torturing myself with a diet. I am always working on something productive and can’t wait to see what the future brings to me. We’ll just wait and see.
JM: Is there anything you would like to change about your career? What are your ups and downs that come with it?
TA: Currently, maybe I wish I could devote more time to taking pictures. The process for preparing to take pictures has never been fun but the results always made it worth while. There are still several photographers out there that I would like to collaborate with and until I do, I will just focus on bringing a different look to the shoot. I try to change something with each shoot, whether it be a different hair style, or a leaner physique, there is always something that I want to do so the photographer has something different to work with.
