Justin Monroe:   Tell us about your childhood? Were you born in a big city or a small town? What was your life like?

Benjamin Patterson:    I was born in Oakland CA. Great place very diverse, Life was good. Lots of good music, fun places to go like Lake Merrit and Berkeley, and of course San Francisco.
JM:    What age was your first modeling experience? Did you enjoy it or were you nervous?

BP:     I was 24, it was for this thing called IMTA- not really nervous because i didn’t know that much about it. Interestingly enough, i won the whole thing. Male Model of the Year.. I did enjoy the whole experience but haven’t seen any of the people that I competed with since.

JM:    What type of photo shoots turn you on?

BP:     Anything sexy in a shoot is a turn on. Doesn’t always have to be nude or even alone, but just the creative aspect of “being” sexy is awesome.
JM:    How do you feel about nudity in your work?

BP:     It’s all about context. I am ok with it. With most European mags and Australian ones nudity is just a part of the shot. Every one has seen a naked body before, so it just becomes an issue of context. I love my work and sometimes I’m not wearing much.
JM:    Would you consider yourself a camera whore?

BP:     Some might, but not really. BUT if it’s on me — I’m on fire !

JM:    If you were a chocolate dessert would you be? and why?

BP:     I’d be Tiramisu. Many Layers and so decadent.
JM:   Are you in a relationship? If so what is your secret to success?

BP:   Yes and the secret is talking about everything and learning to let go of things that aren’t necessary. A lot of people like drama, and I don’t so I don’t hold on to it.
JM:    What do you find hotter kissing or fucking?

BP:     Fucking.. Most of the time one precedes the other , but sometimes ….. Phew!

JM:    What was the most outrageous photo shoot you have ever been on?

BP:     Lady Gaga about a month ago .. Totally Hot !
JM:    What kind of work would you like to be known for?

BP:     My art which is my music and my acting

JM:     In your opinion, What is the sexiest part of a man’s body?

BP:     His mind, everything else is a result of what he thinks of himself. He has a nice _____ because in his mind he thinks he has a nice _____ !
JM:    Chanel or Gucci?

BP:     Gucci all the way
JM:    What is your biggest personality flaw?

BP:    I don’t know ;0)
JM:   What is your guilty pleasure?

BP:    I love your book Down The Rabbit Hole

JM:   What projects have you been working on?

BP:    My 3rd cd for my Band Sapphire Sky called Hollywood Summertime and a few movies to be released later this year.
JM:   What is your favorite quote of all time?

BP:   I have two: 1. Want Nothing – Have Everything
and 2. The spaces between the rungs on a latter are just as important as rungs. I wrote the second one today and the first one as my new life resolution..
