Religion is like a penis. It is fine to have one, it is fine to be proud of it, but please do not whip it out in public and start waving it around everywhere. And PLEASE…don’t try to shove it down children’s throats.

I friggin love this!! And I love the message that it sends, too. Your metaphor about the penis is so spot on – just perfect. And if government would stay out of the religion business and religion would stay out of politics, this country would be a much better place to live.
